Here's the thing. I'm a bookish girl with these wooden things tied to strings in my hands and I can't turn the pages.

I love to read. I truly, truly do. I have so many books going that I had to make finishing them a new years resolution. Now, I'm pretty good at reading while I'm knitting as long as it's subtitles. (If you don't know this about me, I am completely addicted to foreign films, especially Japanese (thank you, Netflix, you lying bastards) films.) But the thing is, subtitles move for you. Books - not so much.

So this year, sadly, I will be knitting less. Yes, it's true. There will be times when I pick up printed material and hold it in front of my face and my hands will be still. Motionless, almost. It's just something that I have to do.
